I still say that the ones that started the riot live in tents outside in court yard. Also make them stay out there all winter in the cold , wiind and snow., sleet. Theyn destroyed the buildings and put people in danager. Let them pay with staying outside.

This would of course violate the Eight Amendment and cost the taxpayers millions of dollars in lawsuits.

Most if not all of that John Wayne big talk amounts to squat when it comes time to enforce it.

Yes, it is usually a "Pie in the sky" hope that someone pay for their deeds. How sad it is that criminals (you know, the ones in jail) have more rights than the ones they committed their crimes against, whether it be you and I, or the crime of arson against the state. Usually the only punishment is the inconvenience of not being able to move around society. Boo hoo, poor criminal, they can't go out and comit more crimes because they got caught. Three good meals every day, a warm place to sleep, and a roof over their heads, until they are stupid enough to destroy it.

Well, maybe the meals are not great, but they eat at your expense.

You cannot make someone take a lie detector test, and as you may not know, the results of a lie detector are not admissible in court.
