Letter: Constitution designed to handle dilemma

Published 9:38 am Thursday, September 8, 2016

Dear Editor,

I would like to respond to Mr. Anderson’s letter of this past Sunday. It looks to me like with the present political, defense, and economic climate in this country as well as the mass exoduses to here from other countries we are being deceived by someone. And Americans have allowed it!

We are, in a dilemma, but the Constitution was written in a way this dilemma can be dealt with. I wouldn’t say we only have a choice to decide between the lesser of two evils, Clinton or Trump. Neither one of these characters is fit to be our POTUS!

No one worthy has come forward to be a savior, unlike Barack Obama who has turned into; he was a joke, or SOME kind of catastrophe for the country.

The constitution provides for a democratic method for our nation to self-correct without some rhetorical reset button. Whether it is through elections, a convention of states, or the dreaded yet sometimes necessary right to bear arms; for the citizen right to protect against tyranny!
