Dean Byrce Griffin, 67, of McKinney, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. Born Feb. 4, 1949, he was the son of the late Mitchell and Retna Marie Todd Griffin.
He was a plumber and a perfectionist with any work he did. Dean was a graduate of Eubank High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of McKinney Christian Church where he served as a deacon.
Dean is survived by his wife, Devonda A. Griffin; son, Christopher Griffin of McKinney; brothers, V.J. Griffin of Ohio; Blaine (Mary Lou) Griffin of Eubank; Leroy (Dorothy) Griffin of Hustonville; Elroy Griffin of McKinney and Verlon W. (Ellen) Griffin of Moreland.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Moreland Christian Church by Rev. David Smith and Ronnie Ping with burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
