Poker run Saturday to benefit motorcycle wreck victim

A Poker Run and benefit will be held on Saturday for Cody Chadwell. 

Chadwell, 20, was in a serious motorcycle accident on June 25 and has been hospitalized since.

His wreck occurred outside of Lebanon. The accident initially left him in a coma; he is currently in physical therapy. 

A poker run will be held on Saturday, with registration starting at 11:30 a.m. and kickstands up at 1 p.m. at Anderson Dean Park, 1501 Louisville Road, Harrodsburg. 

The cost to register is $15 and there is a cost of $5 for each rider. 

The ride will start at Anderson Dean Park and will end at Ultimate Thunder at 308 Fackler St. in Danville. 

After the poker run, there will be a benefit for Chadwell on Fackler Street. There will be a meal, with dishes provided by local churches, raffle drawings and door prizes. T-shirts will also be sold at the benefit for $15. 

All proceeds from the ride and the benefit will be donated to the Chadwell family to support them and their upcoming expenses due to the accident. 

Everyone is invited to attend the poker run and benefit.
