Joseph “Joe” Wilhite

Joseph “Joe” Wilhite, 47, of Danville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at his home. He was born on Sept. 29, 1968, in Danville, Kentucky to Thomas Wilhite and Doris Jean Richardson Coulter.

He is survived by his wife, Amy. Joe worked at the Dana Corporation in Danville for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville.

Also surviving is a step-father, James Coulter; three sons, Joseph, Jaryan and Joah Wilhite all of Danville; a step-son Aaron Smith of Danville; two step-daughters, Laura Smith of Springfield and Mahalia Aminaka of Ohio; four brothers, Lawrence Richardson (Teresa) of Georgia, Tommy Richardson of Danville, Anthony Richardson of Missouri and Edward Wilhite (Stella) of Florida; four sisters, Kathy Huston (Robbie) of Danville, Teresa Richardson of Danville, Debbie Johnson (Rodney) of Danville, and Anita Key (Henry) also of Danville; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 1p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Danville with Dr. Derrick Briscoe officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time.
