This week our featured pets are Bobby and Erin.

Bobby is a handsome tabby that is about 8 months old. This fellow is super friendly and sweet and always ready for attention. Bobby has plenty of energy, but also enjoys being held close. He’s quick to give you a greeting meow, and show his pleasure with a purr. Bobby will make a great addition in most any family looking for an affectionate and social kitty.    

Erin is a pretty 9-month-old Beagle mix. She is tri-color and has those big brown Beagle eyes that reach out and touch your heart. Erin gets along well with her kennel mates and has a sweet disposition. She is not too big and will make a loving indoor companion if you choose to give her the forever home that she deserves.

This Saturday at 12:30 p.m. is our monthly DBCHS obedience class. The class is held inside the service department at the Stuart Powell Ford Dealership on the U.S.127 Danville Bypass. The class is free for those who have adopted from a shelter or rescue. Others are welcome to attend for a small donation to the humane society. If you would like to attend please pre-register for the class by emailing dbchs@bellsouth.net or you may call the humane society at (859) 238-1117. Space is limited so please sign up by Friday at noon. We hope to see you on Saturday!
