Liberty woman injured when vehicle goes airborne

A Liberty woman was airlifted to a hospital Sunday after a one-vehicle wreck along Ky. 910.

Lauren Thomas, 26, was in stable condition at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Monday, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.

The wreck occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday about 8 miles south of Liberty. Thomas was driving a Chevy west when the vehicle left the roadway, went airborne and landed on its side, according to KSP.

Thomas was not wearing a seat belt during the wreck, according to KSP. Trooper Charles Hedgespeth is the investigating officer.
