Larry Joseph Taylor, 37, of Danville, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, in Danville, Kentucky. 

Surviving are his father, Larry O’Neal Taylor, Danville; one daughter, Brooklinn Kaye Taylor, Hustonville; one son, Akili Simpson, Danville; three sisters, Lesley Houston of Danville, Terri Taylor of Lexington and Isabella Aranda of Danville; and a host of extended family.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at St. James AME, with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating; burial at Hilldale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Online guestbook at smith-jackson.com.
