WHEN BOYLE COUNTY HAS THE BALL

Offense: Over the last four games, the Rebels are averaging 253.5 rushing yards per game. Gunner Ashburn has 323 yards and five scores, and Tanner Crawford has 393 yards and seven TDs. … QB Sam Tiller had thrown for 12 TDs against six interceptions.

Defense: The Knights allow 242 rushing yards per game, but they gave up 162 total yards in last week’s win. … They had three takeaways in the win over Western Hills. … Senior LB Sid Sharp (6-foot-1, 219 pounds) has 67 tackles and three fumble recoveries.

WHEN LEXINGTON CATHOLIC HAS THE BALL

Offense: The Knights have averaged nearly twice as many passing yards and rushing. … QB Kirk Fagot has 1,233 yards and 12 TDs, but he’s been intercepted nine times. … Ben Buchignani leads the team with 468 receiving yards and four TDs. … Fagot had 200 passing yards and three TDs in last year’s win.

Defense: DB Evan Tarter is tied for the area lead with five interceptions. … Kaden Gervacio averages 10 tackles per game, including 12 tackles last week against Garrard.

4th And Goal: LexCath hasn’t finished a season with a losing record since 2002. … Over the last five years, the Knights have won 74.6 percent of their 71 games and finished no worse than a region finalist. … Boyle has lost three straight to LexCath by an average of seven points per game.

Quick take: Don’t worry about records — if Boyle wins its fifth straight game this season, it’ll be against another talented LexCath team.

Quick take: The hardest part of Friday for the Ads should be the two-plus hour bus ride to the far southeastern corner of the state.

Offense: The Rebels are rewriting the record books. QB Breece Hayes has 1,611 yards and 16 TDs against only one interception, and RB Collin Miller has 846 yards of offense and 15 TDs. … Twelve different players have caught a pass for the Rebels. … The Rebels are 11th in the state with 43.5 points per game.

Defense: The Generals have created only four turnovers. … Sophomore LB Jeff Isaacs averages nearly 11 tackles per game. … They’ve allowed 47 points per game in their five losses.

WHEN JACKSON COUNTY HAS THE BALL

Offense: RB Myles Hurst has 1,213 yards and 12 TDs, averaging 8.7 yards per carry. … The Generals average 238.6 rushing yards per game. … In their two wins, Hurst has rushed for 389 yards and four TDs. … They totaled 523 yards in a 52-0 win over Berea.

Defense: The Rebels have come up with nine interceptions, with Collin Miller (four) and Britt Pendleton (two) leading the team. … Bell County totaled 229 yards last week.

4th And Goal: The Generals have won six total games since 2014. … This is Casey’s last road game of the regular season. They host Corbin and Adair County in the final two weeks of the season.

Quick take: About the only thing which could derail Casey from going 7-0 is if the Rebels look ahead to next week’s clash with Corbin. Other than that, chalk this one up for Casey.

WHEN WESTERN HILLS HAS THE BALL

Offense: WanDale Robinson makes the Wolverines go. He has 1065 rushing yards and 336 receiving yards, both tops on the team, along with 18 TDs. … His average of 21.2 points per game is best in the state. … Western Hills averages 374.2 yards per game.

Defense: The Golden Lions give up 256.7 rushing yards per game. … Boyle rushed for 303 yards in last week’s game. … Josh Warren had a team-high 12 tackles last week.

WHEN GARRARD COUNTY HAS THE BALL

Offense: RB Jacob Foley is in the top 10 in the state with 1,070 rushing yards. … He also ranks in the top 20 with 11.7 points per game. … Josh Warren and Devan Logan have combined to rush for 683 yards and five TDs. … Foley rushed for 204 yards and a pair of scores in last year’s win.

Defense: The Wolverines force nearly two turnovers per game. … They’re 2-2 in games when they’ve allowed 30 or more points this season.

4th And Goal: In five meetings, the Lions have scored more than twice as many points (160) as the Wolverines have scored (70). … The Lions are trying to avoid their first two-game losing streak of the season. … This is the third straight 1,000-yard rushing season for Foley.
