The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society’s Mutts with Manners program held its second annual “Bark or Treat” event Saturday at the Boyle County Fairgrounds.

Dogs and their owners dressed up in Halloween costumes and paraded down a runway in the main fairgrounds building, where they were judged on cuteness, scariness, creativity and the best owner-pet pairing.

The event benefited the Mutts with Manners program, which operates at Northpoint Training Center.
