Linda Blanton

1959-2016

Linda Pearl (Helton) Blanton, 57, of Stanford, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, at her home. 

She was the loving and faithful wife of Jimmie Neal Blanton whom she married on March, 19 2005. Linda was born in Stanford, Kentucky on Feb. 14, 1959. She was a daughter of the late Pearl and Elsie (Hubbard) Helton. Linda was a faithful member of the Dix River Church of God. 

Linda leaves behind her husband of 11 years, Jimmie N. Blanton; and a sister, Anna Helton Hendrickson. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers include Otis Hendrickson, Bruce Miller, Gary and Chris Blanton, Brandon Brown, Ruben Blanchett and Ray Fletcher.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Negro Creek Cemetery in Brodhead.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 at McKnight Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and to the American Cancer Society Musekamp Family Hope Lodge in Cincinnati.
