Students share their Thanksgiving thoughts

Several students and staff of BCHS shared their thoughts of what makes Thanksgiving special to them. Here is what they had to say:

Rebecca Adams: “I am thankful for my friends and my family that are helping me through my senior year.”

Emma Nolan: “I am thankful for all the opportunities that my school and community has provided me because I get to do what I love like dancing and being a part of various clubs.”

Matthew Whitaker (teacher): “I am thankful for my family, deer hunting, fishing, Kentucky basketball and football, and my wonderful FFA members who brighten my day everyday.”

Megan Kidd: “I am thankful for the country that I live in where females are allowed to have an education and equal rights.”

Tucker VanWinkle: “I am thankful for God, being alive, and being able to worship him.”

Steve Goggin (assistant principal): “In terms of school, I am thankful for our awesome students, and dedicated teachers here at Boyle County Schools.”

Delaney Simpson: “I am thankful for my family because they are always there for me.”

Ryan New (teacher): “I am thankful for my daughter and son who better me as a person.”

Toni Myers (teacher): “I am thankful that I get to wake up and go to a job that I love, and when I leave it, I go home to a family that I love even more.”

Karli Graves: “I am thankful for my family, for the FFA, and for the opportunity to worship God.”

Daniel McQuerry: “I am thankful for all the new experiences I have had and all the good people I have met in high school, and for all the good in this world. Thank Jesus!”

Wilson Kelly: “I am thankful for my family, all the privileges I have, and for friends who have a big impact on my life.”
