STANFORD —The Rev. Stephanie Ragland from Embry Chapel A.M.E. Church, Elizabethtown, will be the guest speaker at Bethel A.M.E. Church Boneyville, of Stanford, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. Rev. Reginal Pullums, pastor.

Bake sale and bazaar

BRYANTSVILLE — New Journey Baptist Church is having a bake sale and bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at the church, located in Bryantsville off of U.S. 27 in Garrard County. There will be several vendors, a silent auction, bake sale and food trucks for your one-stop shopping.

Amen Corner to have annual bazaar

Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church’s Amen Corner is having its annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. The Amen Corner entrance faces North First Street.

Lutheran church advent services

Our Savior Lutheran Church, located at 285 North Hill-n-Dale Street will have the following services throughout December:

• Advent evening services, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7.  

• Christmas program with young people, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14. Theme is “One greater than Moses.” Children will help tell the story of Moses with an emphasis that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Moses’ story — our new and greater Moses. 

• Christmas Eve 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24 with candlelight and carols. 

• Christmas Day service 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25.  

• New Year’s Day service, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. 

In concert

Third Street Methodist Church, Danville will be hosting “Rahab’s Rope” who will be performing in song for the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 4. Please join the congregation for this special service of music as we celebrate the Christmas season. Lunch will be provided following the service.
