Raymond Wilkerson

1930-2016

Raymond Wilkerson, 86, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016. Born June 13, 1930, he was the son of the late James and Nannie Lawhorn Wilkerson.

He was retired from Oak Hill Farm in Harrodsburg and was a member of Danville First Church of God.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Wilkerson; two sons, Darren (Tammi) Wilkerson and Ray Wilkerson; two brothers, Bobby Wilkerson and Freddie Wilkerson; three sisters, Frances Southerland, Betty Hiter and Lucy Meeks; and one grandchild, Kevin Wilkerson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Saundra.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Kevin Cummins with burial in Danville Bellevue Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Ray Johnson, Matthew Ellis, P.J. Feistritzer and Kevin, Bobby and Darren Wilkerson. Visitation is 12-1 p.m. Thursday. www.wlpruitt.com
