Two ladies decided to spread a little extra Christmas cheer to some folks on a Danville street, as they decorated the end of Adams Street in time for the holidays.

Sandy Turner, owner of A Lasting Impression, and Cassie Hill, her friend and employee who lives on Adams Street, decided to decorate the entire street for Christmas.

“Anyone who knows me, knows I do that kind of stuff,” Turner said.

The ladies started by decorating the end of the street, near where Hill lives. But Turner said she just kept going with bows, placing them all along the block.

They put bows on a few porch posts and railings, too, asking as they went. The decorating was met by welcome smiles all along the way.

The neighbors loved the look, they said.

“One lady said it looked like they decorated when she was a kid,” Turner said.

This isn’t the first time they’ve decorated places like this, Turner said. She’s “elfed” other businesses and homes in town before.

“We just like to spread a little Christmas cheer. A little red bow to make someone smile,” she said.
