Toni B. (Reed) Vanoy

1937-2016

Toni B. (Reed) Vanoy, 79, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 28, 2016.

Toni was born to Alva and Ruby (Burns) Reed on Nov. 6, 1937 in Hustonville, Kentucky.

Toni married the late Boyd L. Vanoy on July 30, 1955.

Toni is survived by a son, Jeff R. Vanoy; a daughter, Tina (Kevin) Poynter; three grandchildren, Melissa, Michael and Savanna; a great-grandson, Gavin; a sister, Verla Jones; a brother, Jimmie Reed; and special companion of 17 years, Paul Scott. She is also preceded in death by a son, Johnny; a sister, Jeanette Hallam; and two brothers, TC and Garland Reed.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Toni’s celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Jones Family Mortuary.
