Library to host post-election poetry reading

The Boyle County Public Library is hosting a free community event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12. An assortment of readers will share classic poems that have been helpful throughout the generations. The night is being labeled as post-election poetry as an opportunity for the community to forget the ills of 2016 and come together with no agenda or title other than neighbors. Hopefully the evening will be therapeutic, allowing love and healing to move us forward.
