The Toliver addition is nearing completion and slated to open to students after spring break in April.
Once the addition has opened, renovations will begin on the school’s third floor, followed by the second floor and finally the first floor. The gymnasium will also undergo renovations. All of the construction and renovations are expected to be completed in time for second- through fifth-grade students in the Danville Schools to begin attending in fall 2017.
The addition includes a cafeteria, kitchen, multipurpose room with a stage, new offices, a safer entryway and classrooms.
