James Logan Carter

James Logan Carter, 78, of Junction City, passed peacefully on Christmas Eve. He was a talented artist, avid golfer, a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1956-60, graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, a retiree of North Point Training Center, a father, a husband, and a friend to many. 

He is survived by his wife Vicki Carter; his sons Jamie, Gary, and Ricky Carter and his daughter Maggie Carter. 

No services are planned at this time. Jimmy loved all animals deeply, in lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Danville/Boyle County Humane Society in his honor.
