The Very Reverend David M. Webb, DD, 89, of Louisville, passed away on Jan. 14, 2017.

He received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity on May 11, 1984, and served as rector of the Episcopal churches in Pikeville, Beattyville and Danville. He attended St. James Episcopal Church in Pewee Valley.
Survivors include his daughters, Marsha Leigh Webb (Jeff), Amy Lynn Webb, and Cathryn Ann Webb; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at St. James Episcopal Church. A visitation will be on Friday, from 3-7 p.m. at the church. A separate memorial service will held in the Diocese of Lexington on May 28, 2017, at the Cathedral of St. George the Martyr.
In lieu of flowers, he asked for memorial contributions to be made to the Cathedral Domain Scholarship Fund (www.cathedraldomain.org/donate).
