Like Moses, Franklin Graham should never be criticized

Dear Editor,

In Thursday’s paper, Eric Mount (professor emeritus of religion at Centre College) criticized Franklin Graham. Being a professor of religion, surely Mount knows the story in Numbers Chapter 12, when Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses. Moses was the meekest (most humble) man on the face of the earth.

God honors humility. When they criticized Moses, God called all three to the tabernacle. God told Miriam and Aaron, “Now listen to me. Even with prophets, I the Lord communicate by visions and dreams. But that is not how I communicate with my servant Moses. I speak to him face to face, directly and not in riddles. Should you not be afraid to criticize him?” The Lord was furious with them.

Mr. Mount, God is not impressed with a big title and he doesn’t take it lightly when his children are criticized needlessly (Franklin Graham.)

It might behoove Mr. Mount to watch who he criticizes. Miriam and Aaron did not go unscathed.
