Evangelist to speak

United Methodist Evangelist, Dan Frederick, will be preaching and singing at Perryville United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. Everyone is invited to join us as we glorify the name of Jesus Christ together. Pastor is Douglas Lester.

Singing

God’s Hometown Church will be having hymn singing and refreshments at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at the church, which is located in the Stith Family Center in Junction City. Minister is Bro. Donald Lear, (859) 854-9293.

Pastor ordained to ministry

Benny McCarty, pastor of the North Rolling Fork Baptist Church in Gravel Switch, has been ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the South District Baptist Association and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, also of Gravel Switch.

Rev. McCarty is married to Debbie and was formerly minister of music at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
