LaYvonne Terrell Puckett

1940-2017

LaYvonne Terrell Puckett, 76, of Moreland, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at her residence. Born July 31, 1940, she was the daughter of Edith Southerland Terrell of Moreland and the late Edgar Terrell.

She loved her family, caring for animals and traveling. She was a cosmetologist.

LaYvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ron Puckett; son, Mark Lay; and brothers, Larry and Mike Terrell. LaYvonne is survived by four sons: Tony (Karen) Lay of Hustonville, Troy (Katie) Lay of Harrodsburg, Tim (Karen) Lay of Harrodsburg and Ron (Sandra K) Puckett, Jr.; two daughters: Melissa “Missy Puckett” (Jerry) Stearns of Monticello and Cassandra (Chuck) Benanzer of Ohio; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with visitation from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
