Frank Brown

1933-2017

Frank Brown, 83, of Crab Orchard passed away Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehab in Brodhead. He was the husband of the late Irene (Spoonamore) Brown who preceded him in death on Jan. 19, 2013. Frank was born in Lincoln County on July 13, 1933 to the late Abe H. and Susie Barker Brown. He was a member of the Providence Church of Christ. Frank had worked many years as a logger and a farmer. 

Survivors Include his son, Curt Brown and special friend, Thelma Phelps; sisters, Verbenia Gilpin Engman, Sadie Carr; Glenda and husband Roger Campbell; and Dovie New; brothers, Joseph Brown and Wife Norma, Jasper Brown and wife Fayrine, and Shirle Brown and wife Delsie; granddaughter, Angela and Husband David Lewis; Grandson, Jared Brown and wife Kara; two great grandchildren: Riley and Ivy Lewis

In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Braley, Edith Thompson and Vivian Brown

Pallbearers include: Jared, Shirle and Ronnie Brown, David and Riley Lewis, Dean Cash and Wayne Todd

Funeral Service 11 a.m. 11 Wednesday, Feb. 15 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny McKibben officiating. Burial in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation after 5 p.m.  on Tuesday, at McKnight Funeral Home.
