Gallery Talk: The Civil War and Underground Railroad Quilts was held last Thursday, Feb. 16, in honor of Black History Month. The event was incorrectly dated in Saturday’s Accent section. 

Women business leaders invited out 

The Business and Professional Women and the Boyle County Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a casual get-together 5:30 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 21) at Bluegrass Pizza Pub, 314 W. Main St. in Danville. Women business owners and manager are invited to stop in and socialize; there is no set program or time frame. Participants may drop in, eat, have a drink and leave when they need to.

Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning — technical review staff, 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at Danville City Hall conference room. Budge review committee will meet at 10 a.m. following the TRS.
