Josheau Grant Belcher, 32, of Richmond, formerly of Danville, passed away Thursday at his home. Born on May 22, 1984 in Fayette County to Aisa “Wayne” Belcher (Edna Marie Belcher) and the late JoAnn Thompson Belcher.

Josh was a musician and a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Music. He was a member of the Nicholasville Church of God.

Also surviving are two brothers, Cody Powell of North Carolina and Christopher Terry of Danville; a fiancée, Betty Cooper; three uncles, Randy (Nancy) Belcher, Lee (Vicky) Belcher, and Ricky Belcher; and three aunts, Peggy Belcher, Mary Belcher, and Darlene Belcher-Medlock.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William “Bill” and Pearlie Belcher and maternal grandparents, Joe and Mabel Thompson. Funeral services 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. JR Fields officiating. Burial in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 5-8 p.m.

Pallbearers are Bobby Laduke, Cody Terry, DJ Pike, Ethan Belcher, Derrick Steele, Lee Belcher, Carlos “CJ” Bradshaw, and Loren Bradshaw. Honorary pallbearers will be TJ Olsen and Sheena Laduke.
