John A. Wright

1938-2017

John A. Wright, 79, of Danville, died March 3, 2017. He is the husband of Mary C. Wright. Born February 12, 1938 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Lonzy and Virgie Clark Wright. John served in the U.S. Navy and retired from North Point Training Center.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by three sons, Mark Wright of Huntsville, Alabama, Larry (Pascha) Wright of Danville, David Matthew (Monica) Wright of San Diego, California; two brothers Herbert (Rita) Wright of Moreland and Robert (Jan) Wright of Nicholasville, four grandchildren Cortney, Elizabeth, Jared, and Sammy and one great grandchild Mila.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, 3 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Coburn officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service.
