Rosalie Burton McElroy, 65, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Danville, KY. Born May 12, 1951 to Robert and Marian Burton, She was retired from postal service.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved reading, liked to watch “ CIS”, and “Criminal Minds”, and loved playing with the children of the family.

She was predeceased by a son Harold McElroy, a grandson Dustin McElroy, and a sister Roxann Downs.

She is survived by her husband Edgar Lee McElroy Sr. of Lancaster, KY; a son, Edgar Lee (Glennita) McElroy of Moreland, KY; two daughters, Thelma Bohle of Salem, IN, and Donna (Saul) Ramos of Lancaster, KY; three sisters, Sharon Hernandez and Carolyn Burton, Nellie Horick, of Danville, KY; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday.
