Boyle County Rotary held a district speech contest for local students on Feb. 10. The first place winner, Grace Sheene from Danville High School, earned $300 and qualified for the regional level. Cori Quisenberry from Boyle County High School placed second; Adrianna Crockett from Boyle and Kelsie Steber from Danville tied for third place.
