Jeraldine Anderson Whitis

1931-2017

Jeraldine Anderson Whitis 86 of Somerset, KY, formerly of Moreland, KY, passed away at home March 17, 2017 surrounded by family. Born March 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Goldie Dick Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Ralph Theodore Whitis. Jeraldine was a devoted wife and loving mother. She lived a life dedicated to displaying the love of Christ to all who knew her. She is a member and former Sunday School teacher of Hustonville Baptist Church. She is survived by three children: Barry T. Whitis (Susan), Gary F. Whitis (Cindy), and Terri L. Stewart (Kevin), all of Somerset, KY; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Duncan (Jack)) of Junction City, KY.

Services will be at 11 am, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland by Bro. Eddie Reynolds. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Shawn Whitis, Drew Whitis, Jeff Thurmond, Craig Sowder, Tim Whitis and Kevin Stewart. Visitation is 6-8 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
