Barry James Best

1965-2017

Barry James Best, 51, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. Barry was a twin, born June 1, 1965, in Lexington to the late J.S. and Lucille Clements Best. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Harry.

Barry graduated from Boyle County High School, attended Salt River Baptist Church and was a receiving manager at Lowe’s for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting with his brother Paul and fishing with his daughter Katie.

Survivors include his daughters, Kaitlyn Madison Best and Angela Michelle Marple; their mother, Evelyn Best; a brother, Paul Best (Elizabeth); nieces Amanda and Sami Best and a great-niece Jo Ann Best.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Walden Funeral Home Perryville (formerly Wilder Funeral Home) with Pastor Keith Weldon officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gary, Jerry and Paul Best, Ray Graves, Scott Taylor and John Clements.

Honorary bearers will be Wayne Clements and David White.
