CASA to have Derby Eve Gala

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Bluegrass is having a Derby Eve Gala on Friday, May 5 at the Danville Country Club, 1486 Lexington Road. This is the organization’s major fundraiser of the year.

Cocktails at 7 p.m. and dining featuring classic Kentucky fare at 8 p.m. There will be a silent auction as well as a 50/50 raffle. Music for dancing will be performed by The Black Widow Band from Nashville.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased in advance at www.casaofthebluegrass.org

(CASA) is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides advocacy services for abused, neglected, and dependent children under the protection of the Family Court. The CASA Derby Eve Gala is a major fundraiser for CASA of the Bluegrass which serves Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, and Mercer Counties.

Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning technical review staff — 9 a.m. Thursday, April 27 in Danville City Hall conference room.

Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning — 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Danville City Hall public meeting room. New business items on the agenda include: minor plats for Brittany Ramsey, Tuggle Road; Stone and Ella Mills Clay, Yates Road; Bob and Janet Orms, Ky. 52; Gray Rentals LLC, Perryville; and site plan for Denyo Manufacturing on Minor Road.
