Mildred “Maxine” Reyher

1932-2017

Mildred “Maxine” Reyher, 84, widow of Ralph Reyher, died peacefully in her sleep on April 21, 2017. Born May 29, 1932, in Lamasco, Ky. to the late Willie Belle and Earl Gray and sister to the late Ron and Don Gray. Maxine grew up in Evansville, Ind. and graduated from Bosse High School in 1950.

She leaves to mourn her passing a loving and devoted sister, Nancy (Dale) Work and daughters Kathy (Jeff) Woods and Susan (Bill) Scherer. Also surviving are her three beautiful granddaughters, Ashley (Ryan) Caldwell, Mollie Stewart and Bailey (Tim) Robertson; two great-grandchildren, Will and Jack Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. 

Maxine will always be remembered for her fun-loving personality and her devotion to family, friends, church and bridge club. 

Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Dr. Mickey Anders officiating. Burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. 

Pallbearers will be Brad Gray, Tim Robertson, Kenny Hager, Ryan Caldwell, Richard Work, and Robert Work. Memorial contributions can be made to First Christian Church in Danville, Kentucky. www.prestonpruitt.com
