Monday — Wee Kare Daycare, 9-9:30 a.m.; Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizens Center, 10-11 a.m.; Pioneer Vocational Services, 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Tuesday — Ridgefield Clubhouse, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; Adult Day Care at Senior Citizens Center, 1-2 p.m.; Morning Pointe, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Wednesday — McDowell Place, 10-11 a.m.; McDowell Estates, 11-11:45 a.m.; Parkview Manor, 1-2 p.m.; The Gladys Project, 2:15-3:15 p.m.

Thursday — Charleston Health Care Center, 10-11 a.m.; Danville Center for Health and Rehab, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Birdwatching hike planned

Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge will host a birdwatching hike at 9 a.m. Saturday, May, 6 starting in the parking lot. The hike will be lead by local birding expert, Granville Cox. The hike is rated “easy” and is suitable for beginners. Participants will walk through varied habitats while searching for the colorful warblers and other species that are present this time of year. It is recommended that participants bring binoculars, although it is not required. There will be some binoculars available for loan during the hike.
