Annual Kidtucky Derby takes off despite threat of rain

The threat of rain didn’t hamper Jennie Rogers Elementary School’s annual Kidtucky Derby Friday afternoon on the playground. The kindergarten students raced on their stick horses around a small track as the rest of the students, and lots of families and friends cheered them.
