The Danville-Boyle County Economic Development Partnership sponsored a nonprofit board training for all community members at the Community Arts Center Wednesday, in an effort to “empower nonprofits and strengthening our community.” Danielle Clore with the Kentucky Non-Profit Network led a two-hour educational program discussing board governance, responsibilities and relationships. A diverse audience attended with board members representing the Boyle County Education Foundation, CREEC, the Boyle County Public Library, the Gladys Project, Grace Café, the Kentucky State BBQ Festival and others.
