A Casey County grand jury indicted the following people on May 1:

• Marcus Austin Bryant, 22, 361 Wilson Ridge Road, Liberty: first degree assault when he shot a male victim with a firearm. Bail was set at $250,000 cash only. Detective B.J. Burton with the Kentucky State Police testified.

• Leah S. Pollaro, 26, 726 Ky. 80, Windsor: second-degree criminal abuse of child under age 12 when he placed an 11-month old child in a situation in which the child accessed and ingested heroin. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only. Detective Kenny Brown with KSP testified.

• Donald Andrew Ledford, 52, 274 Three Angels Drive, Liberty: first-degree sexual abuse of female child under age 12; two counts first-degree persistent felony offender; use of a minor under age 16 in a sexual performance. Bail was set at $250,000 cash only. Burton testified.

John Jordan Patterson, 26, 726 Ky. 80, Windsor: second-degree criminal abuse of child under age 12 when he placed an 11-month old child in a situation in which the child accessed and ingested heroin; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $25,000 cash only. Detective Kenny Brown with KSP testified.
