KSD Middle School has spent the spring semester studying the Middle Ages. They have learned about castles, trade and guilds, knighthood, the influence of the church, the arts and more. 

As a culminating event, students are putting on a Medieval Faire. The faire will be outside Kerr Hall at the amphitheater. In case of rain, it will be moved inside of Thomas Gym. 

The Faire will be from 9-11:30 am Friday, May 19, with performances at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. 

The performances will include a parade, dancing, minstrels, jesters and a tournament. Between the two performances, there will be booths selling wares that students have made. These include food, soap, religious “relics”, candles, and toy crowns & headpieces.

We welcome everyone to step back in time with us as we showcase what out students have learned about the Middle Ages.
