James A. Simpson

1926-2017

James A. Simpson, 90, of Danville, KY, died Sunday morning on May 21, 2017. Born on May 23, 1926, he was the son of Roy Simpson and Louise Chitterson Simpson. 

He graduated from Bate High School and was a World War II Veteran. James was a faithful member of Second Street Christian Church and retired from Trane Company, Lexington. 

He is survived by his wife, Joy Simpson, one son, Dr. James Clifford Simpson and one daughter Wenda Simpson Higgins (James). 

Arrangements by Smith Jackson Funeral Home. Services at Second Street Christian Church, Danville. Visitation, Thursday 6-8 p.m., and funeral at 1 p.m. Friday.
