Our featured pets for this week are Samantha and Jonathon.

Samantha

Samantha is a gorgeous 2-year-old Seal Point Siamese mix. Her owner had too many cats to care for and surrendered her to the humane society. Samantha is a sensitive cat and was scared when she first came to the shelter. It has taken her about two weeks to adjust and come out of her shell and become much more social. Samantha is declawed so she needs an indoor home. Her adopter will also need to be patient and allow Samantha the time she needs to adjust to a new home. The reward will be a beautiful and loving feline companion!

Jonathan is a precious 4-month old mixed breed puppy. He may be part lab and part hound. He has cute semi-floppy ears and brown soulful eyes and a perfect stripe down his face. Along with his adorable looks, Jonathan possesses a great personality. He is sweet and playful and will make a treasured family pet. Jonathan is looking for an owner who will teach him all the things he needs to know and will give him the love and attention that he deserves!

This Saturday plan to attend our annual garage sale with proceeds to benefit the DBCHS. The address is 311 Briarcliff Lane in Danville and garage sale hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is part of the Old Bridge Subdivision Neighborhood Sale. The event is lots of fun and you are sure to find some great treasures and at the same time help the animals at the DBCHS. We hope to see you there.
