Chara Leigh Bryant

1981-2017

Chara Leigh Bryant, 35, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at her home. She was the wife of the late William Henry Bryant, whom she married Nov. 14, 2002. Chara was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 31, 1981, a daughter of Joyce (Ballinger) Whitt and the late Charles Whitt. She was a former CNA for Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Survivors include: mother, Joyce Ballinger Whitt; four children, Austin Whitt, Caitlin Whitt, Brooklyn Reynolds and Madison Bryant; and one brother, Justin Cody Whitt.

Funeral service will be 12 noon on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel. Minister will be Bro. Randall Adams.

Place of burial will be Sophus Cemetery at Broughtontown.

Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at McKnight Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Mason Porta, Eric Benge, Josh Martin, Rick and Matt Reynolds and Dalton Blevins.
