Mildred Milburn

1919-2017

Mildred Louise Rankin Milburn, widow of Jody Milburn, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was born December 18, 1919 in Boyle County, Kentucky one of six children of the late D.P. and Jessie Denton Rankin.

Louise was a 1937 graduate of Perryville High School, a lifetime member and the oldest member of Perryville United Methodist Church and was retired from Cricketer Manufacturing. She loved being with her grandchildren and enjoyed animals. Even after leaving the farm, she enjoyed raising chickens and turkeys. She was fond of traveling to the beach in Florida with family and was proud that she raised her family to attend church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her five siblings, Bill, A.G., and David Rankin, Katherine Holtby, Ila Mae Martin, two daughters, Margaret Ann Milburn, Barbara Shelby, grandson, David Todd Shelby and great-grandson, Jacob Logan.

Left to cherish her memory is four children, Harold (Betty) Milburn, Kenny (Ramona) Milburn, Jo (Monte) Elliott, Roy (Margo) Milburn, fourteen grandchildren, Rankin Milburn, Matthew Milburn, Amy Milburn, Paige Brummett, Mona Logan, Carmen Yoder, Rob Milburn, Susan Petitt, Jeff Coyle, Alan Coyle, Melinda Jamison, Jennifer Burns, Mark Selby, Troy Selby, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service led by her family will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville
