Meetings

Boyle County Genealogical and Historical Society — 6:30 p.m. Monday at  Boyle County Public Library on Broadway.

Mary Girard, assistant reference librarian at the Boyle Library, will talk about the online platform Biblioboard,which allows people to post content an oral, video, or an image. She will show samples of what the library has posted, including the first minute book of Perryville.

Mike Denis, president of the society will discuss the future of the historic Doram-Sledd house in Danville. Currently, several history-related organizations have no place to meet and are investigating if the house could  become a home for the Genealogical and Historical Society, Danville Boyle County African-American Historical Society, and the Boyle Landmark Trust. Visitors are welcome. 

Boyle County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP) — 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 23 at the Boyle County Health Department lower level meeting room. This is the monthly and annual meeting for the organization. All interested persons are invited to attend.
