Our featured pets for this week are Diane and Randall.

Diane

Diane is a very petty long-haired calico kitty. She was brought to the humane society because her owner could no longer care for her. Diane has the most spectacular green eyes and a sweet and gentle face. She is a quiet girl and gets along very well with other cats. Diane has been spayed and is ready for a fresh start with a new family. If you are looking for a lovely feline companion, Diane may be just the cat for you!

Randall is a handsome 1-year-old mixed breed dog. He may be part Border Collie and maybe part spaniel. He is medium sized, weighing under 30 pounds and is smaller and leaner than the average Border Collie. Randall is friendly and active and gets along well with other dogs. He would do well in a home where he will get regular exercise and plenty of love and attention. Randell would make a great jogging buddy and a faithful friend if you choose him for adoption!

The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society needs volunteers to assist our staff at our adoption center at the Brannon Crossing PetSmart just north of Nicholasville. A few hours of your time on Saturday or Sunday afternoon can make a big difference in the lives of our homeless animals. This work is both fun and rewarding. Find a friend and volunteer together and you will get to spend time with our adorable animals and at the same time you will be saving lives. For more information you can email humanevolunteer@gmail.com or call the humane society at (859) 238-1117.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
