Betty Jarman

1933-2017

Betty Lou Marshall Jarman, 83, of Danville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday. Betty was born in Georgetown, Kentucky, on August 22, 1933, to the late Earl and Dora Marshall.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville. She was a retired office manager and bookkeeper for Wilhite Ltd. after 22 years of service.

Betty was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Yeary; 3 brothers, Warren, Harold and J.T. Marshall; 5 sisters, Rosa Lee, Edith, Margie, Louise and Marie.

She is survived by her husband, Alex Jarman; 4 sons, Bill (Lana) Yeary, Tim (Lisa) Yeary, Sonny (Shayne) Jarman, Todd (Tracy) Jarman; daughter-in-law, Amanda Mauer Yeary, widow of Kevin; a brother, Alex (Ruby) Marshall; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Paul) Rainey; 9 grandsons, Justin, Kane, Tyler, Josh, Zach, Adam and Daniel Yeary and Dakota and Montana Jarman; 7 granddaughters, Kaitlyn Yeary, Michaela, Michelle, Ashlyn, Rebecca, Laurissa and Kerynna Jarman; 6 great-grandchildren, Libby Oliver, Mason, Elias, Colin and Aubrey Lane Yeary, and Sadie Hurt; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 1st by Dr. J. Timothy Mathis at First Baptist Church in Danville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Guestbook available at www.wlpruitt.com.
