Police blotter from June 27, 28

JUNE 27

12:40 a.m., there is an out-of-control 12-year-old female at the residence.

1:38 a.m., female is advising her boyfriend may have overdosed; additional call back and female is screaming that the male is awake and is fleeing the scene; sheriff’s department attempting to stop the male who is now traveling about 25 mph on Lexington Avenue and is all over the road; traffic stop at Grabruck; arrest made.

5:36 a.m., caller’s car alarm has been activated on Seminole Trail and a male fled on foot toward Lexington Avenue.

10:55 a.m., caller is requesting to check on a suicidal female who didn’t show up for an appointment at Comp Care.

11:47 a.m., caller from Denmark Drive is requesting to speak to an officer about a vehicle that was egged.

12:05 p.m., caller is reporting that the night clerk at gas station on Stanford Road took lottery tickets and money.

1:35 p.m., caller is reporting a physical domestic altercation is in progress and male is under the influence.

1:38 p.m., a 14-year-old female is reporting that two people have stolen her dog.

1:56 p.m., caller is reporting that a male is pulling on vehicle door handles in the Southland Shopping Center parking lot then left in a gray Jeep; officer will do extra patrol.

1:59 p.m., several subjects in a older van with Pulaski County plates are aggressively trying to get into houses on Gose Pike.

2:22 p.m., report that a male may have a meth lab in a trailer.

2:22 p.m., Kroger management is reporting that a female stole a customer’s purse and fled on foot; she was last seen getting in a vehicle; management is familiar with who she is.

3:30 p.m., caller is requesting extra patrol in the Madison Avenue area for the next several nights due to criminal mischief to vehicles.

4:01 p.m., caller said a male who is a sex offender was in the area of the victim’s residence. Victim’s mother said she was going to make sure he never assaulted anyone again; caller’s mother wants to speak to an officer; subjects were advised to leave each other alone.

5:08 p.m., a physical altercation just occurred at Jefferson Avenue residence; subject is refusing to let the caller leave the bathroom; arrest made.

5:33 p.m., a 14-year-old subject is claiming to have been kicked out of the home yesterday; additional call from juvenile’s sister requesting officers to pick up the juvenile.

5:35 p.m., a dog has been trapped in a ditch by a creek since yesterday on West Shelby Street in Junction City.

8:21 p.m., possible illegal activity at Hartland Drive residence due to a high volume of traffic going in and out; search warrant issued; arrest made.

10:16 p.m., complaint about loud noise and fireworks on South Second Street.

10:19 p.m., possible domestic dispute in progress on Burckley Drive; male may have attempted to strike a female with his car; trouble settled, it was a verbal dispute among friends.

11:13 p.m., juveniles were throwing fireworks onto Hustonville Road; unable to locate.

JUNE 28

12:09 p.m., a suspicious driver in a maroon car has driven up and down a road in Junction City three times; may be looking at juveniles in the area.

1:27 p.m., caller is requesting police assistance with traffic on Third Street entrance to the parking garage due to a vehicle that is stuck inside.

1:38 p.m., Dollar General Store has a video of two people picking up a reported lost wallet and leaving with it; 2:18 p.m., wallet has been located.

3:45 p.m., physical domestic altercation in progress in the area of High and North Third streets; male and female were gone upon officer’s arrival.

5:01 p.m., report that on U.S. 127 request to check on the welfare of a male walking southbound and asking for rides; a female with him who may be a juvenile appears to be upset.

5:11 p.m., two-vehicle accident at Lancaster Road and Chrisman Lane.

6:01 p.m., physical domestic altercation is in progress between brothers in Perryville:  there are several weapons in the residence and threats have been made to shoot.

6:43 p.m., request to check on the welfare of a young child who may be home alone; arrest made.

6:44 p.m., caller on Albany Circle is complaining about fireworks being shot.

8:06 p.m., caller in Junction City is requesting information about the city ordinance for fireworks.

8:08 p.m., a female was seen in the library parking lot who may now be hiding behind the outbuilding; unable to locate subject.

8:27 p.m., a motorcycle has struck a deer on Scrubgrass Road.

8:47 p.m., caller said her son is using her key to get into the home and stealing while she’s not there.

8:48 p.m., males in a gray old pickup truck and in a car are circling Centre College campus and harassing students.

9:55 p.m., caller said a dog on Perryville Road has just attacked caller’s dog; it is still on scene; animal control contacted.
