Jacqueline “Jackie” Seltsam

1940-2017

Jacqueline “Jackie”, 76, widow of John Irvine Seltsam, died June 29, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Born August 18, 1940 in Danville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Hursey Goggin.

Mrs. Seltsam was a retired Intake Clerk at the Federal Courthouse in Lexington, KY and a member of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons: Charles Michael Seltsam, Christopher Alan Seltsam, John Timothy Seltsam, and Patrick Lee (Amy) Seltsam; six grandchildren who fondly knew her as GJ: Lauren, Jack, Ryan, J.T., Natalie, and Anna Cate: one brother, Charles (Kris) Goggin: and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thurs., July 6 at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, 2501 Clays Mill Rd., Lexington, KY 40503. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wed. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. with a rosary service at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O.
