McDaniel chosen for inaugural HD Vest Advisor Council

Tim McDaniel, based in Danville, was chosen to be a member of the 2017 HD Vest Advisor Council. Headquartered in the Greater Dallas, Texas area, HD Vest is a leading independent broker-dealer focused on empowering advisors to deliver holistic financial advice that encompasses wealth management solutions. The Advisor Council was formed to obtain strategic feedback from key advisors to improve the HD Vest client and advisor experience while helping to shape the future.

The council is composed of a select group of 12 HD Vest-affiliated advisors from across the country, who will serve one to three year terms. Each council member will participate in bi-annual meetings, with the next meeting taking place Dec. 4-5. The first advisor council meeting took place in Irving, Texas June 12-13.

Tim McDaniel joined the 11 other council members to engage in discussions about industry trends and provide guidance to the HD Vest executive leaders. “It was an honor to be chosen for the Advisor Council,” said McDaniel. “I found the event to be a perfect opportunity to network with my peers from around the country, discuss the evolving landscape of our industry and provide feedback to the leadership of HD Vest. I believe our efforts will play a significant role in the future of the company.”

Collier joins Women’s Health at Ephraim McDowell

Erica Collier, A.P.R.N., an advanced practice provider, has joined Crystal Brown, A.P.R.N., at Women’s Health at the Ephraim McDowell Specialty Center in Danville.

Erica is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky and her master’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. After working in labor and delivery for six years, she developed a special interest in pursuing a career in women’s health across the lifespan, including well woman exams, contraception management, pregnancy and patient education on various women’s health issues.

Collier is from Lexington but just recently moved to Nicholasville with her husband, Anthony, and their golden retriever, Tanner. During her free time, she enjoys traveling to the beach, attending UK football and basketball games, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rusty Clark Named Head of Lending and Kevin Arnold Named Senior Lender for Farmers National Bank

Rusty Clark, Senior Vice President at Farmers National Bank, has been promoted to the bank’s Head of Lending. Clark has worked in the banking industry in leadership roles for more than 20 years throughout Central and Western Kentucky. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and serves as a member of the school’s Athletics Campaign Committee. Clark also has served as a board member of the Ephraim McDowell Health Foundation, the Owsley House Foundation and the Western Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Kevin Arnold has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Lender. He joined Farmers National Bank in 2002 and has worked in commercial lending since 2007. Arnold is a graduate of the Kentucky Bankers Association General School of Banking and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is a current board member and past president of the Danville Kiwanis, and Treasurer of Danville Football Booster Club.
