Police blotters from July 14-16

JULY 14

12:22 a.m., vehicle stop on Jane Trail; semi automatic weapon found.

1:33 a.m., report of criminal mischief to a vehicle parked at Applebee’s.

2:45 a.m., report that a semi truck is traveling north in the southbound lane on U.S. 127 heading toward Mercer County.

2:53 a.m., there is a domestic altercation between a male and female in a white truck in Perryville; it is the same vehicle that was reported as being reckless earlier; there is a child in the vehicle.

9:56 a.m., multiple vehicles are blocking the stop sign and the visibility at the intersection of Lannock Drive and Argyll Woods Drive; there is also barely any room to drive between the parked vehicles.

10:03 a.m., officer checking on the welfare of a male in a gray vehicle parked at Walmart who is either asleep or unconscious; arrest made.

1:14 p.m., investigation at Longview Drive location; public works notified; 1:53 p.m., evidence recovered.

2:20 p.m., driver of a black car was cutting in and out of a funeral procession on Stanford Road.

2:55 p.m., caller is requesting an officer due to drug activity in the business’s back parking lot off of South Fourth Street and at a residence behind the business.

5:42 p.m., there is an unresponsive female in a white car parked at Wendy’s; possible overdose and is not breathing; arrest made.

7:44 p.m., a female customer at Mi Pueblo Taqueria keeps passing out.

8:49 p.m., a female has fallen in the road; her husband said she is OK; assistance refused.

10:15 p.m., caller from Onstott Drive is requesting an officer patrol the area due to a female who stated she was going to the trailer park and cause a disturbance.

11:02 p.m., a burglary occurred at a residence on Fox Harbor Drive sometime after 5 p.m. today.

11:24 p.m., a 17-year-old male is causing a disturbance at Dairy Queen.

11:49 p.m., a male is causing a disturbance at Wendy’s back door; arrest made.

JULY 15

1:02 a.m., a blue pickup truck in a creek on Forkland Road is fully engulfed in flames; caller couldn’t tell if anyone was in vehicle or not; assistance given; constable will be coming out later in the morning to tow it when it has cooled down.

1:05 a.m., physical domestic altercation in progress at Wilderness Road residence; arrest made.

2:09 a.m., officer out with another vehicle in the creek on Forkland Road; drugs found in the vehicle.

2:31 a.m., possible injury accident on Chrisman Lane where the vehicle is in a ditch; arrest made.

3:09 a.m., a suspicious male was seen near the lawn mower store on Stanford Avenue; business is secure; unable to locate subject.

9:12 a.m., a suspicious male came to residence on Castlerock Drive asking to use the phone.

9:14 a.m, report that a stroller was stolen overnight from Arnicar Street residence.

9:35 a.m., a male and female on McClure Drive are causing a disturbance and threatening the caller.

11:45 a.m., there is a refrigerator in the road near Southern States.

1:34 p.m., a female with children is requesting options for housing.

1:56 p.m., two raccoons are in a trash can on Upper Street and appear to be in distress; animal control notified.

2:22 p.m., report that a male is panhandling near Speedway on Main Street.

3:30 p.m.,  a male just did a return of a lawn mower that had been stolen from Walmart; he is still shopping in the store.

3:56 p.m., a 47-year-old male is unresponsive at the residence; possible overdose.

5:25 p.m., residents on Claunch Road in Perryville are shooting a high-powered rifle and it’s hitting other property on the road.

5:46 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about her wallet that was stolen out of her shopping cart in Walmart about 45 minutes ago.

7:24 p.m., altercation is in progress at East Broadway and Third Street; arrest made.

7:47 p.m., female is yelling that she has her daughter and is detaining her and a male; arrest made.

8:223 p.m., noise complaint of a loud dirt bike being ridden on Smith and High streets.

9:15 p.m., a vehicle struck a deer on Lebanon Road.

9:39 p.m., a male ran over an oxygen tank while mowing about two hours ago on Timberland Drive.

9:43 p.m. and 10 p.m., report of fireworks in the area of Bold Venture and Berwick Drive.

10:20 p.m., fireworks complaint in Junction City.

10:51 p.m., report of indecent exposure and inappropriate acts on Chandler Drive.

11:40 p.m., report of a theft of a service animal from Earl Street.

JULY 16

1:42 a.m., a juvenile is on the 911 line; unable to make contact with adult.

6:02 a.m, fire alarms activated on Shannon Way; smoke smelled on third floor; evacuation in progress.

9:44 a.m., a possible suicidal male sent a photo to friend that he is trying to hang himself from the ceiling fan.

9:45 a.m., mother has been unable to contact her 42-year-old daughter who rented a U-Haul from Lexington to go to Danville several days ago and has not turned it back in; the daughter is not answering her phone and has been known to be on drugs with another female in an apartment in Danville.

9:51 p.m., theft of a wallet from a vehicle that occurred overnight on Winterhawk Lane.

12:44 p.m., landlord has discovered a dog abandoned by the previous tenants on Russell Street in Junction City; animal control notified.

1:06 p.m., two vehicles on Pecos Circle were gone through overnight and a wallet was stolen.

1:09 p.m., a male patient is being verbally abusive to hospital staff.

3:02 p.m., a vehicle was broken into on Winterhawk Lane.

3:40 p.m., female is requesting police to contact social worker due to a juvenile whose biological parents are refusing to return the child to foster parent; they have advised the foster parent that the juvenile tried to commit suicide and they are taking the juvenile to the hospital.

4:14 p.m., there is a neighborhood dispute at Long Run Community Apartments; neighbors are arguing because of two juveniles getting into a fight.

6:03 p.m., owners of apartment on Holladay Drive have installed security cameras and someone has cut the wires.

6:30 p.m., mulch near Hallmark on Skywatch Drive is smoldering.

6:53 p.m., female has questions in reference to someone pressing charges on her for having sexual relations with a 16-year-old male.

7:07 p.m., female is under the influence on Oakland Street; arrest made.

8:58 p.m., there is a fuel spill at Battlefield Road and Mayes-Mays Road in Perryville.

9:28 p.m., a gun was found in a yard on Cheryl Lane.

11:04 p.m., subject keeps hitting the doors and windows of West Walnut Street residence.
