Glenda Preston

1943-2017

Glenda Preston, 73, of Danville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Garrard County November 15, 1943, and was a daughter of the late Hubert R. Preston and Annie Mae Drury Preston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Jesse F, Charles Hubert, George W., John Russell, Donald Ray and Edwin Lee Preston and a sister; Mary Elizabeth Preston. 

Survivors include her sisters, Betty L. Kidd, Doris Lottis, and Carolyn Miracle all of Danville, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Darrell Estes with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike, Stevie, Gene, Marvin, Ronnie, and Ryan Boyd, Cleland Lottis and Darrell Kidd. Honorary bearers will be Rocky Kidd, Bobby Damon Miracle, Jesse Preston, Jr., George Ray Preston and Edwin Lee Preston, Jr.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers , contributions may got to Heritage Hospice. Friends and family may leave condolences or special memories on her tribute page at www.ramsey-young.com
